Art Classes

All materials included
Six Week Session March 31, 2009 thru May 5, 2009
Tuesdays at 10:00 - 11:00 a.m.
Ages 2-4, limit 6 students
Class focuses on tactile involvement with art materials. Students will use a variety of materials and use exploration in the creative process. Examples of projects: paint with cars, make pinecone bird feeders, draw body outlines with markers, paint with food etc.

4 week session April 11 2009- May 2, 2009
Saturdays 10:20 - 11:30 a.m.
This class is for children aged 6-8, limit 6 students
This class will introduce vocabulary and materials. Students will learn basic drawing terms, such as, still-life, realism, expressionism, etc and work with a variety of materials such as pencils, charcoal, conte crayon; watercolor and acrylic paints. They will work on newsprint, illustration board, canvas and watercolor paper.

All classes are held at the Pruitt Art Studio behind the garage at the Pruitt Residence in Central Phoenix off 24th Street and Osborn.
